From 17 October, Tech Data officially becomes TD SYNNEX in the UK and Ireland and across Europe. The rebrand follows last year’s merger between the two companies, which created the world’s largest distributor of IT products.

It was on 1 September 2021 that Tech Data and SYNNEX merged to create TD SYNNEX – a leading global distributor and solutions aggregator for the IT ecosystem. Since then, we have been operating throughout Europe under the name Tech Data — A TD SYNNEX Company. From 17 October, we align with the global brand, with the names of legal entities, registered office address, and email addresses changing at the same time.
This may mean that our partners need to make some operational adjustments – and to make that easier, notification of the changes has been sent to all our partners well in advance. There will be no change to your contact persons and teams, or to the product offerings, solutions and services we offer to you. Our working processes will not change either – and there will be no change to our bank account or VAT numbers.
In summary, here’s what’s changing….
- Legal entity names for many Tech Data operating companies in EMEA will change to TD SYNNEX (please check with your Tech Data representative for specific details)
- Bank account names of our legal entities
- Branding identity (logos and visuals)
- Email addresses will change to @tdsynnex.com but emails sent to @tdsynnex.com or any other legacy email domain will remain active, and emails will be delivered
In parallel, our Tech Data Limited registered office address will also be changing
