With a strategic focus on the fast-growing areas of collaboration, digital signage, and unified comms, TD SYNNEX Maverick is going through a phase of rapid growth and investing to bring in additional, experienced heads to ensure it can meet the needs of IT and audiovisual partners.
► Bartrum, Vernon, and Ireton are latest recruits to growing team
► Demonstration of Maverick’s commitment to AV partners
► Follows on from several key vendor signings with more to come
The latest recruits to the team are Paul Bartrum, who has joined as AV account director, Peter Vernon, who now heads-up Maverick’s UK&I projection business, and Jimmie Ireton, who becomes business lead for digital signage. The trio bring extensive experience of working with specialist AV partners and their arrival is a significant landmark, said Mark Glasspool, senior director, UK&I, Maverick.

‘We are investing strongly to make sure that we can support both audiovisual specialists and the growing number of IT partners that find AV products becoming integral elements of many solutions. With deep market knowledge and established relationships, Paul, Peter, and Jimmy add considerable value to the Maverick team and their arrival is a clear demonstration of our commitment to partners on AV, projection, and signage sales.’
The appointments come hard on the heels of several new vendor additions to the Maverick portfolio. These include Epson, Barco, Zebrix, and Chief (Legrand). The business expects to announce further significant additions in the coming weeks. Maverick will also be adding further to its team with additional posts now being recruited.
