The HAT3310-16T is a 3.5-inch drive designed to fit into SYNOLOGY’s popular NAS boxes. Like all Plus Series drives it is rigorously tested for validation and features streamlined firmware updates through Synology DiskStation Manager. They are also backed by an up-to 1.2 million hour mean-time-between-failures (MTBF) rating and 180TB per year workload rating – more than three times that typically offered by desktop drives.
Made for 24/7 operation in multi-drive RAID configurations, all Plus Series drives use conventional magnetic recording (CMR), offering better performance, reliability, consistency, and a longer lifespan than standard shingled magnetic recording (SMR) drives. They run at speeds of up to 7,200 rpm, offer a 281 MB/s transfer speed and use a Helium-sealed design.
