Microsoft has announced updates to its Copilot product line-up expanding availability for Microsoft 365, introducing no-seat minimum commercial plans, and making a new individual subscription available.
► Changes make Copilot generally available to SMBs as well as enterprises and individual users
► 300-seat minimum purchase requirement removed
► CSP partners can now offer Copilot to all their customers
In a move that makes AI accessible for many more customers, the 300-seat purchase minimum for Copilot for Microsoft 365 commercial plans has been removed. Microsoft is also removing the Microsoft 365 prerequisite for Copilot, making customers with Office 365 E3 and E5 eligible to purchase.
In addition, it is extending Semantic Index for Copilot to Office 365 users with a paid Copilot license. Semantic Index works with the Copilot System and the Microsoft Graph to create a sophisticated map of all the data and content in an organisation, enabling Microsoft 365 Copilot to deliver personalised, relevant, and actionable responses.
The company has also announced that Copilot for Microsoft 365 is now generally available for SMBs. Any organisation using either Microsoft 365 Business Standard or Microsoft 365 Business Premium can now purchase Copilot for Microsoft 365 for $30 per user per month.
There is also a new Copilot Pro version subscription, which is priced at $20 per individual per month for personal and family subscription holders only.
As a result of three changes, Microsoft CSP partners can now offer Copilot for Microsoft 365 to all their customers. If you’d like further information or to learn more about Copilot and the opportunities it presents, please click on the link below to contact our Microsoft team.
