An HPE ProLiant DL145 server – with Azure Local pre-installed – is being installed at TD SYNNEX’s Business Solutions Centre (BSC) in Bracknell, along with HPE VM Essentials, giving partners a ready- made demonstration facility for virtualised workloads.
► HPE VM Essentials offers simple and cost-effective alternative
► Partners can test and demonstrate HPE servers, storage, networking and virtualisation
Powered by a fourth-generation AMD EPYC 8004 processor, the HPE ProLiant DL145 Gen11 server is designed to support critical business applications while HPE’s VM Essentials (VME) provides simplified integration and management of virtualised workloads across hybrid environments. Deploying a DL145 with VME software is an alluring proposition for any customer looking for alternative options right now, said Victoria Davis, business manager – Hewlett Packard Enterprise at TD SYNNEX.

‘With the DL145 and VME, customers can massively reduce the number of physical servers they need to use, simplify their licensing and reduce costs. A lot of organisations are reviewing their approach to virtualisation at the present time and having the ProLiant DL145 running VME and Azure Local in the BSC means partners can come in, do a deep dive on the options, and set-up demos for their customers.’
HPE Aruba data centre networking equipment and HPE Alletra storage devices are also installed in the BSC and available for demonstration and proof-of-concept sessions. TD SYNNEX’s own HPE experts will be on-hand to assist with set-ups and the internal HPE team can provide pre-sale technical assistance. Marketing is currently putting together a Campaign in-a-Box to help partners promote HPE VME.
