TD SYNNEX remains committed to leading the way on this vital issue and the latest update on its progress and achievements have been revealed in the company’s latest Corporate Citizenship report covering FY24.
► 43% reduction achieved since 2022
► Target reached six years ahead of plan
TD SYNNEX set a corporate goal – verified under the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) – to reduce its Greenhouse Gas Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions (gas, oil, electric etc) by 42% by 2030. Remarkably, the company has already achieved a 43% reduction since 2022. Kevin Wragg UK&I sustainability director commented ‘this is six years ahead of plan and mainly due to countries like the UK using renewable and solar energy and demonstrates how much progress can be made when decisive action is taken.’
