► Company has also been reaccredited for Great Place to Work 2024
► Over 65% of co-workers provided responses to this year’s survey
In addition, TD SYNNEX has been re-accredited for Great Place to Work for 2024, after more than 65% of its co-workers provided feedback about the culture, programmes and practices that make the workplace unique. This means TD SYNNEX UK continues to be recognised as an organisation that provides an outstanding experience for its co-workers.
TD SYNNEX is ranked 14th in the brand-new UK’s Best Workplaces for Development List, which recognises companies making co-worker development a key part of their culture. The listed workplaces offer co-workers the chance to better themselves, learn new skills, and progress within the organisation. TD SYNNEX has demonstrated that it actively supports every co-worker’s own tailored growth journey, that co-workers are fuelled by a sense of purpose, feel valued, and give their best to the organisation.
Being included on the exclusive Best Workplaces for Development List officially acknowledges the company’s ongoing commitment to development, innovation and employee growth, said Jodie Carroll, senior director, human resources, UK and Ireland, TD SYNNEX. “We are immensely proud to have been recognised for the continued efforts we are making to ensure everyone at TD SYNNEX UK and Ireland feels valued and has the opportunity to develop and grow.”
TD SYNNEX provides its co-workers with access to learning platforms and opportunities. A minimum of two days a year is allocated to every co-worker for training or development and all co-workers are provided with support in growing and developing their careers.
“Employee training and development isn’t just about teaching employees to do their jobs. It’s about showing employees they are valued and that there is a path of progression available. When employees don’t see opportunity, they don’t bring their best selves to work and productivity and retention will be adversely impacted,” said Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place To Work® UK.
“Employee development is future-focused and evidences a commitment to employee’s long-term growth. It ensures your people feel valued, and feeds into the overall company culture and strategy. Each year, we recognise organisations whose thriving workplace cultures are enabling both their people and their business to flourish. Opportunities for learning and development are a crucial element of this success, which is why we’re so thrilled to be recognising this year, for the very first time, the UK’s Best Workplaces for Development.
“Congratulations to TD SYNNEX for being part of our 2024 UK’s Best Workplaces for Development List."
To compile the UK’s Best Workplaces for Development List, Great Place To Work® reviewed each company’s culture, benefits, approach to leadership and development, alongside anonymous responses from employees. These data insights are then used to benchmark each company's employee value proposition against the culture employees actually experience. Only the businesses who achieve the highest scores after evaluation receive Best Workplaces™ status.
