Having completed a highly successful tour of the UK and Ireland to give partners an insight into the HPE GreenLake, the TD SYNNEX team is now working on incorporating additional elements into its support programme for partners and in a particular place a greater focus on sustainability.
► Reducing carbon impact a top priority for customers
► Team gained with valuable insights into what matters for customers
The tour visited four lakeside locations around the UK – in Ireland, Scotland, The Lake District, and the Thames Valley. As well as senior speakers from TD SYNNEX and HPE, it was supported by VMware and Nutanix. It focused on the huge opportunities emerging over the next few years in digital transformation, cybersecurity and workload modernisation.
But the presentations that attracted most attention were those that focused on sustainability. These included a demonstration of the new HPE Sustainability Dashboard, which hosted by HPE GreenLake can be used effectively to monitor power consumption and CO2 emissions. There was also a talk by Kevin Wragg, director, environment and quality compliance, UK, TD SYNNEX and feedback from partners indicated that this is a subject of rising importance to customers.
‘We had four great events and what came across loud and clear is that sustainability is becoming a bigger issue for all customers’, said Hayley McCarthy, vendor marketing manager – HPE at TD SYNNEX. ‘A lot of RFPs now ask for details on the sustainable aspects of solutions and if they want to win business, partners need to provide verifiable responses. HPE GreenLake can help customers reduce or manage their carbon consumption – through more efficient use of IT resources, by reducing power consumption, and lowering e-waste – and that’s something we need to help partners understand in more detail.’
Partners were also given a comprehensive overview of the value that the experienced and extensive TD SYNNEX HPE team can offer them, and an update on developments with HPE GreenLake in key areas such as hybrid cloud, edge (Aruba), and AI, as well as the latest additions to the solutions portfolio.
