As part of its on-going commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I), TD SYNNEX has signed up for the Stonewall Diversity Champions Programme, which helps and supports organisations to transform their workplace culture into one that can attract, retain and nurture the top LGBTQ+ employees.

► Part of making TD SYNNEX a great place for everyone to work

► Enhancing appeal of TD SYNNEX for people within the LGBTQ+ community

The move has been championed by SPECTRUM, the TD SYNNEX business resource group (BRG) dedicated to supporting LGBTQ+ co-workers. The expertise that Stonewall has within the LGBT+ Community will support our endeavours to make TD SYNNEX all the more inclusive said David Keiller, Microsoft Azure business manager and a member of the SPECTRUM board.

‘We want to make TD SYNNEX the best possible place for everyone to be themselves and learn how we can do a better job of attracting and retaining new talent from the wider LGBTQ+ community. We felt we needed support in this area and decided to work with Stonewall to move forward with our efforts to create the best possible environment, not only for co-workers who are already in the community, but also to attract and retain new talent that we may not have appealed to before.’

One of the useful aspects of the Stonewall Diversity Champions Programme is an Equality Index, which will help TD SYNNEX measure its performance against other organisations and make use of with Stonewall’s expert advice to review policies.
