TD SYNNEX Datech, the specialist design software business of TD SYNNEX, has been appointed as an official distributor in the UK and Ireland for Dassault Systèmes’ SOLIDWORKS, the leading portfolio of 3D design and product development applications.
► Expands partner access to leading 3D CAD, AEC, and product design software
This agreement significantly expands the choice of specialist design and CAD software available to TD SYNNEX Datech partners across the UK and Ireland. Effective immediately, partners interested in offering SOLIDWORKS solutions can tap into TD SYNNEX Datech's proven expertise and FLAER (find, land, adopt, expand, renew) sales lifecycle methodology to accelerate growth. Partners also gain access to extensive enablement resources - including self-service portals, analytics dashboards, and automation tools - to nurture customers, streamline renewals, and improve efficiency.

Abby Wrigley, Datech Director, UK and Ireland & Benelux TD SYNNEX, said: ‘SOLIDWORKS is a leading and trusted 3D design platform and a highly significant addition to the TD SYNNEX Datech portfolio. It means that partners focused on the CAD, AEC, and design markets can come to us for all their software requirements. They can then work with our team to drive new business development and deliver higher levels of customer satisfaction to their end-user customers in all industries.’
The two companies will be able to build on the strong working relationship established over the past two years, she noted. TD SYNNEX Datech was appointed as a distributor for Dassault Systèmes’ DraftSight design and drafting solution at the beginning of 2024.
Commenting on behalf of Dassault Systèmes, James Aslin, GEO leader, Euronorth, stated: ‘TD SYNNEX Datech is a leading specialist distributor and aggregator in design software and ideally placed to support SOLIDWORKS partners in growing their business. We have a clear plan to drive long-term success with partners in the UK and Ireland and look forward to working with their team to achieve our shared goals.’
