Cybersecurity is a good market for partners to focus on for at least the next seven years with annual growth expected to be around 13% from now until 2033, according to a report from Astute Analytica – but solutions will need to become more complex as the threat grows.

By 2033, the firm estimates that it will be a $723.8 billion market globally. But by then it will be a vastly changed landscape, with AI developments having reshaped protection strategies and solutions.
According to the World Economic Forum (WEF)’s Global Cybersecurity Outlook 2026, AI is expected to be the most significant driver of change in cybersecurity this year by 94% of firms. The percentage of respondents assessing the security of AI tools has nearly doubled from the previous year, from 37% in 2025 to 64% in 2026. The WEF also noted an acceleration in AI vulnerabilities with 87% of respondents to its survey identifying them as the fastest-growing cyber risk over the course of 2025.
There is a growing need to have structured processes and governance in place and businesses are now moving beyond ad-hoc assessments towards more systematic evaluations of AI. They are also having to safeguard against misuse, data breaches, and possible disruptions that could stem from vulnerabilities in AI and other systems.
As this picture becomes increasingly complex, customer organisations will become increasingly reliant on their trusted partners. Similarly, systems integrators, service providers, and reseller partners will need to ensure that they work with businesses that have complementary skills and capabilities to meet rapidly developing customer needs.
