The new devices come in several form factors – from 13-inch up to a new 16-inch display option and optional 5MP camera, for higher-resolution video conferencing. The screens also have a 16:10 ratio for a more immersive experience. Models can ship with up to 64GB RAM, some with support for Wi-Fi 7 and 4G LTE or 5G. Various options provide users with the choice of Intel Core Ultra processors with Intel vPro, or AMD Ryzen PRO 7030 Series processors for optimal Windows 11 performance and productivity.
On sustainability, Lenovo has designed these systems for ‘enhanced repairability’ with the aim of reducing electronic waste. They also use technology that improves display brightness while reducing power consumption. It has also incorporated new tactile markings for increased accessibility.
AI functionality is integrated into devices with neural processing units (NPUs) within the Intel Core Ultra processor set and a ‘Copilot key’ has been provided to give users fast access to Microsoft’s AI tool.
