There was a lot to take in and a lot to get excited about at the recent Dell Technologies World 2024 in the US. As well as a keynote from Michael Dell himself, the firm announced its new AI Copilot+ PCs and talked about the big opportunities around moving customers to Windows 11. It also highlighted the benefits of taking a broad-ranging Dell value proposition to market.

There were a number of TD SYNNEX delegates at the event in Las Vegas, which was attended by thousands of partners from all over the world, including many from the UK and Ireland. This made it a great event for networking as well as getting right up to date with the latest Dell developments.
Dell made announcements about its new AI Copilot+ laptops, which are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon X Series processors. It also talked about the huge potential to upgrade current users to new Windows 11 devices and made significant announcements on the server and storage side and around its APEX hybrid platform.
Overall, the message was that the wider Dell Technologies proposition is now a really strong one, said James Baulch, business unit manager for Dell client at TD SYNNEX. ‘We talked to a lot of our partners, not only about the exceptional range of client devices, but also about Dell’s enterprise solutions and how this is now all coming together into a coherent and visible strategy. We see good opportunities for partners going forward to take a comprehensive Dell value proposition that covers all infrastructure requirements to their customers.
