TD SYNNEX named one of UK’s Best Workplaces™ for Women 2025

Jodie Carroll, senior director, human resources, UK and Ireland, TD SYNNEX, stated: ‘Being listed as one of 2025 UK’s Best Workplaces for Women™ demonstrates TD SYNNEX UK’s commitment to supporting women co-workers and ensuring they have equal opportunities to develop and thrive. We support and encourage women to be ambitious, advance their skills and achieve their full potential. We inspire women to believe in themselves, aim high and apply for senior management and technical roles. We continue to make further improvements in our approach to recruitment, gender balance and well-being, and encourage other companies in our industry to do the same.

‘Women co-workers are integral to our diverse workforce and the wide range of skills, abilities, backgrounds, and experiences we have within TD SYNNEX UK is key to our high performance culture. This enables us to understand and meet the needs of our customers and deliver a better and more personal service to them.’

TD SYNNEX continually supports women co-workers in a number of ways. Its Elevate business resource group is dedicated to encouraging women to thrive and in the past year has produced a series of podcasts covering subjects such as imposter syndrome and endometriosis and worked to raise awareness of the challenges presented to women by the menopause and maternity.

Women are encouraged to progress and advance their careers and we have a successful and well-established mentoring programme with more than 50 active one-to-one partnerships. Almost half of mentees (47%) and more than a quarter of mentors (27%) are female. In the 12 months to May 2025, 45 women have been able to advance through internal promotions.

Over a third, (34%) of people-manager roles are occupied by women. We provide flexible working options for all co-workers and continue to work towards closing the gender pay gap, which currently stands at 16.2%, down from last year’s 19.2%. In June, Jodie Carroll, senior director HR, and David Watts, senior vice president, regional managing director, UK and Ireland, recorded a special podcast delving into the topic.
