Partners have a huge opportunity to upgrade customers to the latest Cisco Webex unified comms solutions with multiple products released prior 2010 having now reached end-of-life (EoL) – and TD SYNNEX can help them to identify all their customers that have affected products and will be advised to upgrade.
► Partners can get a free report on their installed customers from TD SYNNEX
► Up to $80 million worth of solutions across Europe are now unsupported
TD SYNNEX can provide a Momentum Installed Base (MIB) report for Cisco partners on request. This will list all your Cisco customers that have Webex products that are no longer being supported. It’s estimated that around $80 million of Webex products installed across the European region are impacted – and as the UK is by far the biggest market for Webex, the potential for partners here is especially good, said Joseph Kizza, business development manager – Webex at TD SYNNEX.

‘It’s a fantastic opportunity. There are thousands of Webex solutions out there that are no longer receiving upgrades or support. In many cases, they will have been in use for well over 10 years, and by upgrading customers can benefit from the very latest technology and the many additional features and benefits of the latest Webex solutions, so in most cases, it should be a fairly easy sale.’
Identifying customers is made easy too with the MIB reports. ‘All partners need to do is get in touch and give us permission to request the data from Cisco. That will give partners a list of targets who have a clear and simple reason to invest.’
Upgrade sales are also eligible for Cisco promotions and incentives, such as Fast Track and the Device Cloud Promotion, he noted. The TD SYNNEX Cisco team can provide full details of the opportunity and the MIB report.
