Dan Melly has joined TD SYNNEX as dedicated business development executive manager for augmented and virtual reality solutions and is eager to hear from partners who either have opportunities in this fast-growing area of technology or can see the potential with their customer base.

Previously, Dan worked at scanning specialist PFU for almost five years and prior to that spent over a decade at Epson, in both cases working in channel development. He thus brings extensive experience of working with partners to his role at TD SYNNEX.
‘Augmented and virtual reality is such an exciting area, because right now, everything is an acorn – but we will see some mighty oaks growing from these small beginnings’, he said. ‘We see really great opportunities in every industry, and there are already some excellent cases where AR and VR is being used to simulate real-world scenarios for training people – in transport, in oil and gas exploration and even in retail.’
