A comprehensive support programme being run by the TD SYNNEX Advanced Solutions team in the UK is helping Citrix partners to ensure that they do not miss out on all their renewals opportunities – and increase the value of renewals for partners on a consistent basis.

As well as regular calls to go over forthcoming renewals, the TD SYNNEX team is helping partners to migrate customers to Citrix Universal licensing and successfully helping them to identify up-sell and cross-sell opportunities with customers. As a result, partner sales are up by significant double-digit percentages. Renewal rates have risen significantly.

A new value-add programme was put in place to support partners following a series of changes to the Citrix partner programme earlier this year. The results for partners have been excellent, with almost all of the 20% uplift coming from additional upgrades and license sales, said Tom Waggott-Moss, business development manager – Citrix.

‘We set out a programme that would support Citrix partners not only in moving across to Universal licensing, but also in capturing all renewals and driving up-sale and cross selling business. It’s been a resounding success and we’re now bringing more partners on-board who want to benefit from the comprehensive service we offer.’

The TD SYNNEX Citrix account managers make regular contact with partners to go through forthcoming renewals and look for potential to upgrade the number of licences a customer has and to up-sell them to other solutions. Partners also get access to a closed LinkedIn group through which the TD SYNNEX team keep them updated on latest developments with the vendor, its products and its programme.

A streamlined quoting process gives partners more chances to win, and TD SYNNEX’s Citrix specialists can support partners with pre-sales consultancy, providing advice on their behalf to end user customers on licensing options, proof of concepts, demonstrations and workshops.
