Yves Mertens, Cisco managing director security sales, provided partners with a summary of the key points from the Cisco meeting in Las Vegas, emphasising the huge opportunities that lie ahead and why he believes that Cisco security partners will be ‘unstoppable’.
► Partners urged to secure the base, land and expand SaaS, and build on success
In a short video piece, he highlighted three areas in which TD SYNNEX and partners need to focus: ‘Number one is secure the base. We have a huge opportunity to refresh firewall customers and I would encourage you all to go the extra mile and look at enterprise cybersecurity agreements for your customers.

‘Second is land and expand in SaaS. We have a compelling offering that together we need to push to the market. We want to make sure that you understand our SaaS solutions and the secure Cisco Plus Now and zero trust offerings. I know a lot of you also are pushing our managed security services on hyperscalers, and that is also an opportunity.
‘The third is about building on success. I think we need to continue to get more customers to adopt the Secure X platform. And on top of that, I think we can deliver services together and with all this, I think I'm sure we will be unstoppable this year.’
