Partners that want to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the latest version of DraftSight’s professional design software solution will get the chance to hear about the company’s plans for its 2025 version in a series of webinars next month.
► Planning and pre-launch dates set for October
► New opportunities in adjacent sectors to AEC and design
The company is holding a special pre-launch partner webinar on 17 October and providing an exclusive ‘first look’ at the new features coming in DraftSight 2025 on 24 October. All partners are being encouraged to register for both of these online events by the TD SYNNEX Datech team, which was appointed as an official distributor for the Dassault Systèmes’ solution last year.
Jennifer Taylor, Director, TD SYNNEX Datech Europe, said: ‘We’ve had a great start with DraftSight and we’re looking forward to hearing about Dassault’s plans for 2025. We think there will be good opportunities with the software in multiple industries and want to encourage as many partners as we can to attend the pre-launch events.’
The potential for DraftSight reaches beyond what might be deemed as the ‘traditional’ sectors for drafting software, she noted. ‘DraftSight is already a popular choice in AEC and professional design, and there are also good opportunities in adjacent areas, such as transport and logistics, manufacturing, consumer services, the energy sector and others. Attending the launch will enable partners to see where DraftSight might fit with their customer base.’
DraftSight is a complete set of editing, design, and automation tools for 2D design for architects, engineers, design professionals, students. It used industry standard file formats and is interoperable with Dassault Systèmes’ CATIA and SOLIDWORKS applications. Datech is the specialist design software division of TD SYNNEX.
The respective pre-launch and ‘first-look’ events take place on 17 October and 24 October 2024. For more information and registration details, please click on the link below to contact the Datech team.
