The Cisco team is planning what it describes as a ‘mega’ collaboration event this summer at the Cisco Executive Business Centre (EBC). All the latest and greatest solutions from the vendor will be showcased at the event and leading figures from the vendor will outline their plans to support partner sales growth.

One of the highlights is likely to be a showing of Cisco’s new AI-driven offerings for Microsoft Teams Rooms. The event will be designed to appeal both to existing partners and those who have up to now, been selling other telephony and collaboration solutions, Joseph Kizza, Cisco collaboration lead UK, TD SYNNEX, explained. ‘We want to put on a real show, both for partners who already know just how big an opportunity Cisco collaboration is for their business, and for uninitiated partners who would like to see the solutions in action for themselves. This will be a golden opportunity for those businesses, and they will also get to hear about Cisco’s plan to support partners in driving more collaboration business over the coming months.’
With the continuing move towards hybrid working and a growing need for high quality and performance right across the network, there are some exciting times ahead, he added. ‘We see very good opportunities opening up in all segments and in particular with the SMB business community. We’ve seen a lot of partners succeeding with Cisco Webex Calling due to its simplicity and amazing ROI – and we see a lot more potential for more partners.’
