Samsung Electronics has announced the Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25, hailing the devices as setting a new standard as ‘a true AI companion’ for users, claiming the devices deliver the ‘most natural and context-aware mobile experiences ever created’.

The S25 introduces new multimodal AI agents, which aim to change the way users interact with their phone. These enable the Galaxy S25 to interpret text, speech, images and videos for more natural interactions. Users will be able to upgrade to Google’s Circle to Search for faster and more contextual searching.
The S25 is also the first range to feature a customised Snapdragon® 8 Elite Mobile Platform chipset that delivers greater on-device AI processing power and superior camera range and control with Galaxy’s next-gen ProVisual Engine.
The One UI 7 user interface makes use of AI to understand user preferences and context, with the aim of providing personalised experiences and assured privacy. It’s also the first to have post-quantum cryptography, which aims to safeguard personal data against emerging threats that could increase as quantum computing evolves. Galaxy S25 devices also comes with Call Transcript and summary and Writing Assist features for summarising content and formatting notes automatically.
They are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy – the most powerful processor yet on Galaxy S series. This delivers a performance boost of 40% in NPU, 37% in CPU and 30% in GPU compared to previous generation. Samsung and Qualcomm worked together to customise the chipset, which additionally delivers a 40% improvement in display image scaling quality, improved display power efficiency and smoother and more realistic mobile gaming.
