While progress has been made in improving gender diversity across the technology industry, some of the challenges women face during the middle stages of their careers can still be overlooked. To help address this, TD SYNNEX and HPE have launched a new discussion forum designed to encourage networking, knowledge sharing, and collaboration.
► A joint initiative between the TD SYNNEX Elevate BRG and Women@HPE Group.
► Designed to support women navigating mid-career challenges.
The forum will be run by the TD SYNNEX HPE Accelerate program sponsored and supported by TD SYNNEX’s Elevate Business Resource Group (BRG) and the Women@HPE Group, both of which are focused on empowering women in the workplace. It aims to bring together women and allies from TD SYNNEX, HPE and the partner community to share experiences, build professional networks and raise awareness of challenges that can arise at key stages of a career.

Victoria Davis, senior manager HPE at TD SYNNEX, said: ‘The idea came about through a series of conversations between us and the HPE team about women who are in mid-career and having to adapt the changing needs of their children or the need to care for an elderly parent, or other relatives, for example. We decided it would be a good idea to bring together women and allies from both our businesses and from partners to share ideas and come up with practical ways that will help women and employers to understand and address these specific challenges.’
The group's first meeting is scheduled to take place as part of the TD SYNNEX HPE Accelerate Influence gathering, which will also explore ways partners can collaborate more closely with TD SYNNEX and HPE to support business growth and development.
