Sales of Meta’s Quest 3 mixed reality (VR) headset and the Quest for Business management platform are gaining momentum and TD SYNNEX is looking to bring additional partners on board to meet the growing number of enquiries.

► Open market that is still in the early-adopter phase

► Meta Connect 2024 coming up in September

One recent success saw a large number of headsets and licences being sold for use in learning environments and more opportunities are now emerging as the word about Quest spreads, said Dan Melly, business development manager for AR and VR at TD SYNNEX. ‘We are seeing a lot more interest and we’re certainly looking for more partners to get involved, both to meet the demand and uncover new opportunities.’

The incentive is that the market is still in the early adopter phase, he added. ‘While VR has been around for some time, it’s still new to a lot of businesses and educators – and that means it’s a very open market. There is real potential to carve out a niche and bring something completely fresh and new to customers.’

Partners that want to understand more about the Meta Quest will be given the perfect opportunity in September when the next Meta Connect take places. This annual two-day, virtual gathering will showcase everything that is new around the platform and provide various use-cases and scenarios that partners can learn about and explore.
