Following on from the announcement that it made back in July on planned updates to the range, Microsoft has now officially announced the Surface Hub 3 – a version that runs Microsoft Teams Room on Windows (11) and the 50” Hub, will also support smart rotation between landscape to portrait mode i.e. users will be able to move between orientations with the layout updating automatically. It will also come with the AI-enhanced IntelliFrame collaboration tool, which enhances meeting experiences and a version of Copilot that will provide smart whiteboarding will be made available later.
The Surface Hub 3 will also ship with the AI-powered Surface Hub 2 Smart Camera in the box. Customers that have a Surface Hub 2S will be able to purchase a Surface Hub 3 Pack cartridge that will give them all the additional features of the Surface Hub 3.
The Surface Hub 3 will be available in 50-inch and 85-inch versions from December this year and in the interim, promotional offers will be available in current Surface Hub 2S models and cartridges. These will be available until the end of the year.
