Datech Solutions, the Autodesk-focused business of TD SYNNEX, a TD SYNNEX (NYSE: SNX) company, has signed an agreement with iOFFICE + SpaceIQ, a leader in the digital transformation of workplace and asset management, that gives Autodesk partners access to iOFFICE + SpaceIQ’s Archibus integrated workplace management system (IWMS) solutions. Together, Autodesk, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADSK) and iOFFICE + SpaceIQ offer a building lifecycle solution, enabling building owners and operators to break down data silos and realise the full potential of BIM.
► Autodesk partners can address customer challenges around hybrid work and sustainability
► Lifecycle management solution for building design and facilities management
The agreement enables Autodesk partners to provide an integrated building lifecycle solution – comprising iOFFICE + SpaceIQ’s all-in-one workplace management platform, Archibus, and Autodesk AEC Collection – that will enable building operators to analyse and optimise all aspects of their real estate, mission-critical assets and space management. In September 2021, Autodesk announced a strategic investment in iOFFICE + SpaceIQ as part of its efforts to bring BIM and digital twin technologies to the full building lifecycle.
“This new relationship between Datech and iOFFICE + SpaceIQ comes at a time when end user organisations are facing new challenges in re-configuring their environments for hybrid working, to meet sustainability goals, and provide the flexibility to adapt to sudden and unforeseen change”, said Séamus Hurley, vice president, Europe, Datech Solutions, TD SYNNEX.
“It gives Autodesk partners addressing the estates and facilities management sectors the opportunity to provide extended solutions and add more value. By bringing design, operational and performance data, and workflows together, Archibus and Autodesk AEC Collection provide all the tools needed for the redesign and reconfiguration of working environments. That presents Autodesk partners with the potential to widen their proposition, help existing customers even more, reach out to new prospective clients, and open up new revenue streams.”
Nick Stefanidakis, VP, Alliances & Channels for iOFFICE + SpaceIQ added: “Our partnership with Datech gives Autodesk partners the opportunity to offer Archibus alongside BIM solutions. With tighter integration of BIM data and deeper insights into operations and workflows, professionals can make more informed design choices. They can create environments that optimise efficiency, comfort, and sustainability, and provide the capability to adapt to unexpected change, for their end user customers.”
Archibus empowers building professionals to manage and optimise space, operations, and maintenance – including facility management tools such as work orders, preventive maintenance scheduling, asset management, and capital planning. The solution integrates with the Autodesk AEC Collection, which provides designers, engineers, and contractors a set of BIM and CAD tools supported by a cloud-based common data environment for project delivery from early-stage design through to construction.
The agreement between Datech and iOFFICE + SpaceIQ is part of a wider strategic plan that will see add-on solutions that enable partners to add more value and thus drive increased loyalty and customer satisfaction added to the Datech portfolio.
