ArcGIS GeoBIM enables building information modelling (BIM) users and projects teams to derive the full benefits of GIS. It provides an innovative, easy-to-use web-based experience that enables them to utilise data from multiple systems. It also connects directly to Autodesk BIM Collaborate Pro, the cloud-based design collaboration and co-authoring software built on the Autodesk Construction Cloud.

Séamus Hurley, vice president, Europe, Datech Solutions, stated: 'Esri’s ArcGIS GeoBIM gives Autodesk partners new ways to provide their AEC customers a unique, unified experience and the ability to maximise the value of geospatial data and deliver ground-breaking solutions and excellent results. It provides an ideal way for partners to broaden their offering and add more value with the Autodesk portfolio.'

Kathleen Kewley, director, global business development, AEC for Esri commented: “With Esri’s solutions, AEC businesses can improve the construction, design, and operations efficiency throughout the project lifecycle. Our partnership with Datech will give many more Autodesk partners the opportunity to offer our innovative ArcGIS GeoBIM solution to their customers.”

The agreement with Esri is part of a wider strategic plan that will see Datech provide select add-on solutions that enable partners to add more value and thus drive increased loyalty and customer satisfaction.

With its dedicated expertise and vast experience in the full range of Autodesk solutions, backed by TD SYNNEX’s operational, logistical, and financial strength, Datech Solutions can support Autodesk partners in maximising sales and profitability, driving business efficiency and helping them to deliver higher levels of customer satisfaction.
