Adobe will be removing DC moniker from its Acrobat Pro DC and Acrobat Standard DC applications therefore these will now be titled ‘Acrobat Pro’ and ‘Acrobat Standard’. With this re-name there are a few changes and there will also be a price increase by 40%.
The new Acrobat Pro offering is upgrading from the individual version of Acrobat Sign with 150 transaction fair use limit for Acrobat Sign transactions to SMB version of Acrobat Sign with unlimited Acrobat Sign transactions.
Existing customers who have at least one Acrobat Pro license by August 7th 2022 will not be affected by the price increase but will benefit from the additional features directly up until May 2023. Any new customers as of the 8th August 2022 will pay the updated prices for their Acrobat Pro license.
Adobe Sign is being re-named to ‘Adobe Acrobat Sign Solutions’. The product offering remains the same.

Adobe Acrobat Pro
This tool is for SMB level. Enhancements to Acrobat Pro allows businesses to now collect payments, send for e-sign to multiple recipients, access controls for PDFs, has data centres in Europe and Japan, add branding to contracts, collect e-signatures on websites and has Microsoft Information Protection capabilities.
The following still applies to the product:
- K12 CC all apps, will continue to come with individual version of Acrobat Sign
- Pricing for EDU and VIP Marketplace, no change
- Gov FRL version, Sign not included
- Teams and enterprise versions available (enterprise version require for SSO)
- Multi-user
