While end-user customers are looking to get back up to speed with their IT plans, partners are being pulled in many directions at once, said Andrew Stewart, HPE business unit director at TD SYNNEX. ‘While there is a lot more activity, the situation in the market remains complex. As well as the continuing constraints on product availability, there is pressure on skills and on finance. While it was extremely difficult during the pandemic, this current period in which we are trying to get projects and cashflow moving once again, presents different challenges that are just as hard to address.
‘Our approach at TD SYNNEX is to be positive and work with partners to help them to help their customers and support their businesses. Where shortages remain, we can work to optimise the situation and ensure the end customer has the best possible solution available. For many but not all, this is an ideal time to migrate to hybrid, for example. Where finance is an issue, we can provide different options and we have a professional services team who can support partners that have gaps in their own resources or capabilities.’
Open communication is vital at the present time, he added. ‘It’s all about working together and it’s really important to keep communicating and exploring the options. Partners need to find ways to keep their customers happy and keep their business moving, so the message is quite simple – if you have a challenge of any description, talk to us. In every scenario, I am confident we can help our partners find a good solution for all concerned.’
