Cisco has launched an environmental sustainability specialisation and partners that qualify will also achieve Cisco Select status in the process, thus unlocking all the benefits that come with that widely-recognised accreditation.
► Putting the focus firmly on re-purposing and recycling
► Will also give partners access to additional rebates and other benefits
The new environmental sustainability specialisation gives partners access to tools, training, and incentives to help drive responsible re-purposing or recycling of end-of-use products. It provides new incentives for swap-outs of products with equipment that is more environmentally friendly. It also encourages partners to educate customers on how they can reduce their carbon footprint and ensure used equipment does not end up in landfill or on the grey market.
Equipment is retuned under the Cisco Refresh scheme, which TD SYNNEX has been supporting for some time. This provides customers with certified Cisco remanufactured hardware with the same warranty and support options as new products.
In addition, by going through the accreditation, partners will also achieve Select status, providing them with access to additional rebates, special offers and promotions and much more.
The new initiative supports the 2018 Capital Equipment Pledge, led by the Platform for Accelerating Circular Economy. As part of the Pledge, Cisco committed to 100% product return upon request, at no cost to customers or partners. The new specialisation also supports Cisco’s goal to reach net zero across global Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions by 2040.
