Allied Telesis has announced the SwitchBlade x908 Generation 3 modular switch that combines high-density performance, flexible interface modularity, and future-proof scalability in a compact 3U form factor.

► Easy migration to higher speeds and mixed environments

► Ideal for AI, HPC, and high-resolution video apps

With support for a wide range of interface modules, the switch can be tailored to evolving customer requirements and rising demand for capacity. It integrates easily with both legacy copper and fibre interfaces as well as modern 25G and 400G technologies, ensuring smooth migrations without costly rip-and-replace cycles.

The switch is ideal for addressing backbone bottleneck problems and ensuring that adequate bandwidth can be made available for AI, HPC, and high-resolution video workloads. It supports mixed copper and fibre infrastructures and keeps costs down for 400G adoption, especially when only a handful of ports are required. The compact 3U chassis design supports eight slots, giving you a higher density than typical 6U chassis systems.
