A series of recent successes has led to a surge in bookings for TD SYNNEX’s Business Solutions Centre (BSC) in Bracknell. The Advanced Solutions team is encouraging more partners to make use of this unique facility to run demonstrations and PoC tests, training and workshop sessions with their customers and their own teams.

BSC Immersion Days are now available for seven solution categories, providing a framework of demonstrations and hands-on experiences. Each Immersion Day can be tailored and intermixed to meet the specific business solution requirements of the customer and partner.

The BSC is equipped with all the latest technologies from leading vendors and in recent months it has been used for a great variety of purposes. Whatever the activity, TD SYNNEX’s professional services and technical teams are available to help partners get the maximum benefit from their time in the BSC.
In October, the BSC hosted 30 of the Dell presales team for a hands-on demonstration of the BSC Immersion Day concept. The BSC is the only multi-vendor demo capability that showcases a wide range of Dell Technologies solutions in the UK and Ireland, aside from its own Centre of Excellence in Limerick, and we have already taken multiple bookings as a result of this activity.
Another example has seen partners getting hands-on enablement experience of Red Hat OpenShift Virtualisation. We have been running a series of workshops to help partners grasp the unique considerations of running VMs on Kubernetes and how to use Red Hat’s free migration tools. Subsequently, a number have been working with TD SYNNEX to run migration assessment workshops for their customers.
Further investments have been made to make the BSC even more appealing. We have recently added an HPE Alletra MP storage array providing partners with an easy way to become enabled for sales and technical in this key strategic range of solutions. We have also installed a NetApp ASA C250 system and will be running ASA workshops to help partners understand and take this versatile solution to market.
For partners that have not investigated how they might be able to make use of the BSC, it’s well worth making the effort, said Andy Brown, technical services director, TD SYNNEX.

As it’s equipped with all the latest enterprise technologies – from servers and storage through to virtualisation software – it has everything partners need to run comprehensive demonstrations for customers. They can also call on the expertise of our professional services team to help them set-up and run demonstrations, and thus give customers a really thorough and detailed perspective of how any combination of solutions and technologies will deliver benefits to their organisation.’
It can also be used to demonstrate and explore cloud options, he noted, and for other types of sessions, such as proof-of-concept tests and technical and sales training.
‘We have close partnerships with all the three big hyperscalers, we can show partners how they can move and migrate workloads from on-premises to the cloud and between platforms. The BSC can also be used for training and to run PoCs that emulate planned deployment designs. We’ve used it for all these purposes and with the flexible and modular set-up we have in Bracknell, it’s easy to adapt for different scenarios.’
