As more people shop and more business trade online, demand for label printers has been rising. As more businesses are operating virtually now, with staff working at home in filing and labelling, that trend has gathered momentum. Which is why sales of label printers have been growing at a healthy pace.

► Thermal technology means no ink or toner needed

► Designed for high volume output and no waste

It’s the ideal time then for market-leader, DYMO to refresh its main product line. The new LabelWriter 550 Series replaces the popular and trusted 450 Series. Key features include the ability to deal with high volume output and automatic label recognition, which means they can recognise which type of labels are loaded, and the number left on the roll. This also prevents printing with the wrong size labels loaded.

They are also faster and print high resolution, up to 300dpi, ideal for barcodes. The devices connect to an app that allows a range of designs to be applied and the 550 printers also reduce waste by printing only the required number of individual labels. The new 550XL also allows direct shipping label printing from ebay, Amazon, UPS, Etsy, and Fedex, as well as Royal Mail “Click and Drop”.

TD SYNNEX is now selling selected multipacks of Sharpie Permanent Markers. These are the ideal complement for DYMO labelling, where cabling needs to be numbered or labelled.
