Retail and Distribution Solutions Ecosystem gets underway

Author: TD SYNNEX Newsflash Published: 20th April 2020

TD SYNNEX has launched a Retail and Distribution Industry Solutions Ecosystem initiative for partners and developers targeting the sector. The programme is being supported by IBM.

  • Virtualised resources being set-up to connect innovators, solutions providers and anchor partners and allow sharing of content, ideas, information, and news

While current restrictions mean that industry partners can’t be brought together in a single place to discuss opportunities and potential, TD SYNNEX is running a series of virtual initiatives to get the programme moving. These include a special LinkedIn group, which can be found at linkedin.com/groups/13838064. Through this and other resources, partners will be able to share content, ideas, general news and information.

‘Bringing together partners to create new solutions and take them to market.’

Neil Cornish, Business Development Manager, Industry Solutions UK and Ireland at TD SYNNEX, said: ‘We are very much taking a collective approach that will enable wider collaboration and discussion within our retail and distribution-focused partner community and lead to further growth and opportunities. We want to bring together innovators, solutions providers and ‘anchor’ partners – companies with complementary skills who can help each other to create new solutions and take them to market.’

These three groups comprise companies with specific skills in technologies such as RFID, IoT, data collection and tracking provenance in the supply chain (innovators); others who are already providing retail or distribution solutions business (solutions providers); and businesses who are already selling into retail and distribution and have access to the market (anchor partners). TD SYNNEX has already established a thriving ecosystem and community of partners in both the healthcare and life sciences and the manufacturing and industrial sectors.
