Fujitsu has introduced an innovative image scanner that can store scans even when there is no computer or host device. The fi-7300NX is thought to be the first scanner to use NFC authentication. It allows users to log-in and then scan and save documents to the cloud using the fi-7300NX’s touch-screen. Customised job menus can be created to ensure scanning if performed consistently. The scanner can also be controlled through an app from a smartphone or tablet and strong data encryption ensures secure

data transfer. For more, see InTouch.
