ASUS has announced three new Google Meet Hardware bundles, including a Starter Kit option. The new Small/Medium and Large Room kits are upgrades of the existing Hangouts Meet Hardware and with the addition on the Starter kit there are now solutions to suit all room sizes, from small spaces in the home or office, to large dedicated conference suites.

All of the kits have at their heart the ASUS Google Meet Compute System. This has been designed from the ground up to deliver enhanced performance, extended operational lifetime, and enterprise-grade reliability. Key highlights include a completely redesigned main system board that has been manufactured to the highest quality standards and subjected to rigorous testing, and built-in security with a verified boot process and encryption.
In addition, the version of Chrome used on the platform has been optimised for Google Meet. Automatic updates mean that users never need to worry about managing firmware upgrades for keeping their Google Meet System and accessories right up to date.
Each kit also comes with a Google Meet Speakermic included which exclusively supports Google Assistant (currently in Beta) for zero-touch meetings. The Starter Kit comes with a remote control whereas the Small/Medium and Large Room kits include a Mimo touch-screen control panel for one-touch meeting management. This has an HDMI input, opening up additional ways to present.
A Huddly IQ camera with 150° FOV is also included with the Starter and Small/Medium room kits to ensure everyone in the room can be seen. A qualified camera for the Large room kits need to be purchased separately.
The Google Meet Hardware Kits carry a three-year warranty (this covers 40 countries and ASUS can also extend coverage to more than 50 countries) and offer Advanced Replacement Warranty upgrades at an additional cost.
