Lenovo has announced new solutions to expand its growing portfolio of hardware, software, and services built for teachers and students, including the Lenovo 100e Chromebook Gen 4, and new services and software for more personalised, secure, and inspired learning.
► New Lenovo 100e Chromebook Gen 4 purpose-built for the mobility and durability
► Lenovo Education software and hardware bundles specific to education needs
The Lenovo 100e Chromebook Gen 4 is fast and built with enhanced security. Powered by the Intel Processor N-Series and the ChromeOS platform, it equips students with the tools they need in the classroom and beyond. Weighing less than 1.5 Kg and boasting up to 12 hours of battery life, this 11.6-inch clamshell design with optional touchscreen is ideal for schoolwork and collaboration.
Tested to DuraSpec and MIL-SPEC 810H standards, it is built for the bumps, falls, and spills that occur in the daily lives of young learners. A new and easily serviceable top-load keyboard with anti-pry full-skirt keycaps is able to withstand accidental spills up to 360ml. In addition, reinforced ports and hinges, plus rubber bumpers, means this resilient device is ready to take on learning anywhere.
Digital security feature options are provided by the Lenovo ThinkShield portfolio – these include Absolute for device tracking and management and SentinelOne for AI-powered endpoint security through real-time prevention, detection and response against known and new malware strains.
More support options that can be added to Lenovo education hardware are also available. These are designed to minimise learning downtime, free IT resources, and provide peace of mind that devices are protected.
