HP's business strategy is grounded in a commitment to sustainable impact, encompassing climate actions, human rights, and digital equity. By prioritising the areas where it’s technology, expertise, and platform can have the greatest positive impact, HP is fostering a culture of purpose and creating enduring value for all.
HP recognises the importance of standing for something greater than the products they offer, which is why sustainable impact is not only a business necessity but also a key differentiator. HP prioritises doing what is right, even when it presents challenges, in order to create a more sustainable future.
Climate Action
Taking urgent and decisive action to achieve net zero carbon emissions across our entire value chain and innovate our products and services for a more circular economy.
Human Rights
Building a culture of equality and empowerment within HP and beyond, where diversity is sought out and celebrated, and where human rights are understood and respected.
Digital Equity
Accelerating equitable access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunity for those who are traditionally excluded so they can participate and thrive in a digital economy.
HP is committed to achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2040, with a 50% absolute reduction in emissions by the end of the decade. It has already made significant progress by reducing its plastic waste by 44% since 2018 and adopting fibre-based packaging solutions whenever possible.
HP has also established partnerships focused on protecting forests and reducing deforestation for paper production. As a result, all of its paper is now sourced from recycled or certified sources.
HP's education programs and solutions have benefited over 24 million people worldwide, promoting digital equity in education and improving learning outcomes.
