►Wearer can see equivalent of up to five virtual screens

The ThinkReality A3 glasses are tethered, either to a PC or select Motorola smartphones via a USB-C cable. They can be used to provide augmented reality for remote guidance, training and personal development, or in healthcare or therapeutic settings. The stereoscopic 1080p display that the user sees can be the equivalent of to up to five virtual displays, so there are also potential applications that will provide users with mobile privacy.

TD SYNNEX is already seeking partners, said Michael Abate, business development manager for AR/VR. ‘Lenovo’s ThinkReality smart glasses are a next generation of augmented reality solution. Light, powerful and versatile, they are ideal for working in virtual spaces or supporting remote assistance and enhancing people’s abilities. We see really good potential in commercial and public sector markets, and we are keen to talk to any partners that may see an opportunity with the A3.’
