While Synology is best-known for its high-performance storage, did you know that the company also has a superb range of high-performance wireless products? The latest of these is the RT6600ax – a next-generation WiFi 6 router.

Designed to meet the need to support more connected devices, the RT6600ax comes with three radios, delivering a combined 6.6 Gbps of wireless throughput, and the class-leading Synology Router Manager (SRM) operating system. It delivers faster, more reliable Wi-Fi, even with many simultaneous connections due to better data encoding, beamforming, scheduling, and signal isolation. It also comes with a configurable 2.5 GbE WAN/LAN port.

This RT6600ax router joins Synology’s RT2600ac device and the MR2200ac mesh router, both of which offer excellent speeds, versatility and robust operation.

Synology has also announced details of the much-anticipated HAT5300-4T series of hard drives. The HAT5300-4T series are enterprise-grade SATA devices, designed to tackle demanding, high-volume workloads. Optimised for Synology storage solutions, their design enables high sequential throughput whilst also ensuring maximum dependability.
