TD SYNNEX has been appointed as a distributor for MiTAC, giving partners access to what was previously the Intel server family, as well as the Taiwanese vendor’s own TYAN product range, which includes a wide range of motherboards and systems.

Intel announced its plan to hand over its Data Center Solutions Group (DSG) business to MiTAC – which was already an Intel OEM/ODM partner – in April 2023. This gave MiTAC the right to manufacture and sell products based on Intel’s designs and to take development forward.
TD SYNNEX has now been appointed as a distribution partner for MiTAC in the UK and Europe, giving partners continued access to the former Intel DSG products, and to TYAN’s motherboards and barebones systems, which make use of both Intel and AMD technologies.
