Lenovo and NVIDIA aim to put the power of AI into the hands of every business

Lenovo has announced new hybrid AI solutions, built in collaboration with NVIDIA, that can be used to deliver tailored generative AI applications to every organisation and cloud. The company has announced a range of powerful servers and workstations that make use of NVIDIA technology and have been engineered specifically to accelerate the development and use of generative AI applications and services.

Lenovo has added two models featuring powerful 8-way NVIDIA GPU systems to its ThinkSystem AI range. They have been designed to deliver massive computational capabilities for generative AI. In addition, Lenovo can now offer certified systems for NVIDIA AI Enterprise – an end-to-end cloud-native software platform for the development and deployment of production-grade AI applications.

The company has also added servers with built-in AI support for NVIDIA’s OVX systems and Omniverse development platform, which is used for the creation of universal scene description (OpenUSD) applications. These make use of NVIDIA MGX modular reference designs to enable accelerated development of complex AI and HPC applications.

A new range of Lenovo ThinkStation Workstations with NVIDIA RTX have also been unveiled. These come with up to 4x NVIDIA RTX 6000 Ada Generation GPUs for large AI training, fine-tuning, inferencing, and accelerated graphics-intensive workloads.
