A round table involving core members of the TD SYNNEX Healthcare Ecosystem has decided to place a strong focus on the many ways in which AI can be used to bring forward new healthcare solutions and services at the full member gatherings due to take place later in the year.
► AI to be one of the main agenda items at full ecosystems meetings on 18 April
► Potential to create and deliver ground-breaking solutions is high
The team of 20 individuals from partners, clinical entrepreneurs, the NHS itself and from both TD SYNNEX and IBM, held a round table discussion at the Institute of Directors in London to discuss detailed plans for the year ahead and decided that AI should be one of the first items on the agenda. Attendees included Luv Aggarwal, global sales leader for IBM’s Generative AI platform and Sara Lillywhite who heads up IBM's NHS team.
‘What’s happening in healthcare as a result of AI is fascinating’, said Neil Cornish, business development manager, Industry Ecosystems, UK, TD SYNNEX. ‘It’s already at the stage where the regulators can’t keep pace with the developments and there is much more to come. The impact in areas such as self-diagnosis is already being seen and in the coming year, we think the potential for partners, innovators and investors to join forces and come up with new offerings that will make a real difference to outcomes, will be tremendous.’
Other subjects will also be explored at the two full meetings of the TD SYNNEX Healthcare Industry Ecosystem, which are currently planned for April and September of this year. If you’d like to find out more about them, please contact neil.cornish@tdsynnex.com.
