Samsung has stepped up its challenge in the entry-level smartphone market, launching a duo of devices that will have a strong appeal to both businesses and consumers.
- New models combine innovation and quality of higher-end models at A Series prices.
- Competitive RRPs are attracting both businesses and consumers.
The Galaxy A20 and Galaxy A10 are part of a restyled range that is leading the evolution of the former J Series into the now extended A Series and brings innovative features and designs to Samsung devices in this segment of the market for the first time, including displays that deliver immersive viewing experiences, longer-lasting battery performance and higherspecification cameras.
Bradley Nicholson, Vendor Manager for Samsung at Tech Data said: ‘Samsung is really upping its game with the Galaxy A20 and A10. They have the premium feel of the S line with the traditional accessibility and affordability of the A series. We have already seen a lot of interest, from both commercial and retail, so we are very positive about their prospects. This is now a very competitive sector of the market and Samsung has the brand and the momentum to compete really effectively and enable resellers and retailers to give customers exactly what they want. Great performance, great features and great prices.’
The Galaxy A20 has a 5.8-inch Infinity-V display, dual camera with 13MP and 5MP lenses, 32GB of storage as standard, an octa-core processor and carries an RRP of £169. The A10 has a 6.2-inch display and comes with a 13MP rear camera. It has an RRP of only £139. Memory on the devices can be extended to 512GB and Samsung Knox security is built-in.
