Oracle expands cloud capabilities with AWS, Google and Azure

Oracle has announced plans to work with AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure to continue to expand availability and satisfy increasing demand for Oracle Database services running on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

The database market leader is collaborating with the leading hypervisors to help customers accelerate their application migrations and modernisations, giving them the flexibility to use multiple cloud services.

Oracle expands cloud capabilities with AWS, Google and Azure

The company announced the availability of Oracle Database@AWS at the recent Oracle CloudWorld gathering in Las Vegas. This will provide customers with a unified experience between OCI and AWS, for simplified administration, billing, and support. It also announced that Oracle Database@Azure is now available in six Azure data centres globally – including the south of England and expanded global availability. Additionally, Oracle Database@Google Cloud is now generally available in four Google Cloud regions across the US and Europe.
