TD SYNNEX has just taken home the NetApp Partner Award for EMEA Strategic Partnership. NetApp, a global cloud-led, data-centric software company, presents these accolades annually in recognition of the investment and cooperation of its key partners. For the first time in 2021, the partner awards were bestowed on recipients from EMEA and Latin America under one umbrella, making this the first transoceanic NetApp partner celebration. TD SYNNEX was selected among multiple nominees by a panel of internal judges to receive one of the fifteen coveted awards.
To guarantee the safety of winners, nominees, and laudators this year’s edition of NetApp’s geo partner awards was conducted virtually. Hosted by NetApp Vice President channel sales EMEA & LATAM, Kristian Kerr, the ceremony also introduced partners to Jenni Flinders, the company’s new senior Vice President of Worldwide channel and partner ecosystems. As part of the keynote, both hosts oversaw the cloud data company’s donation of $7,500 to Doctors Without Borders.

“The last fiscal year saw partners, distributors, and our technology alliance come to terms with the ongoing pandemic. Everybody in our ecosystem has done a tremendous job minimizing the impact of COVID on our customers business by tirelessly introducing and delivering cloud-based and virtualized data services”, reflects Kristian Kerr. “IT departments were the first line of defense against major business disruptions. They have literally kept the lights running through the lockdown period. Tonight, our awards are one way of thanking them and giving back.”
As a recipient of the EMEA Strategic Partnership Award, TD SYNNEX was rewarded for “their investments in developing and training their partners to drive NetApp Cloud Business and build solid foundation for the future. They have also excelled in FY21 with digital selling and innovation” says Kristian Kerr, NetApp Vice President channel sales EMEA & LATAM.
The Partner Awards highlight the highest-performing and groundbreaking contributors to NetApp’s award-winning Unified Partner Program (UPP); in fiscal year 2022, the UPP was enhanced to provide partners with a more flexible, consistent and simplified experience, also expanding the whole ecosystem, offering new financial incentives and accelerating profitability, and adding new solutions and Services Certified specializations.
