Some significant advancements in HPE’s strategy and approach with HPE GreenLake were announced at HPE Discover and TD SYNNEX will be running a number of events to give partners a full understanding of what the changes mean to them and their customers, and the huge opportunities they will bring.
► HPE puts GreenLake at the centre of XaaS strategy
► More potential for more partners to grow sales and subscription income
As well as virtual events there will be in-person workshops and a wealth of content you can download or access on the TD SYNNEX Channel Academy. Julie Rutherford, business development manager, HPE GreenLake said that the opportunities with GreenLake are certain to grow and expand as a result of the changes.
‘HPE is now positioning GreenLake as its ‘as a service’ platform and the central hub through which all HPE services and resources are accessed. That means all partners and customers will need to be registered on the platform – whether they are using specific GreenLake resources or not. That’s going to deliver a lot of benefits in terms of simplicity and time-saving, and that’s something that we need to communicate to everyone.
‘There is also a lot more potential for more partners with GreenLake now. HPE has made it clear that everything-as-a-service is the clear direction of travel and it’s moving quickly now. All storage resources will be available as a service by the end of this year and other solutions and services will also be migrated to a hybrid model.
‘GreenLake is now the focal point of that approach and, as HPE executes on its strategy, customers will get all the benefits and experience of the public cloud, while keeping critical resources on-premises, while partners will see new opportunities to develop and grow subscription and services income. The next few weeks and months will be all about landing the platform and making sure everyone understands how to make the best use of HPE GreenLake and how to take the opportunities it will bring.’
TD SYNNEX will be running workshops and webinars and making training and education resources available to help partners understand the HPE GreenLake strategy and approach, the different options and how they can effectively communicate it to their customers.
