RSA, the security-first identity leader, has announced major enhancements to its passwordless authentication platform - RSA® ID Plus. These updates enable secure, phishing-resistant access across Microsoft Entra ID-joined desktops and legacy RADIUS environments, helping organisations modernise authentication, reduce risk, and streamline identity management.

New features include passwordless Windows desktop login using mobile passkeys and QR codes, with Entra ID support arriving imminently. A simplified one-step enrolment process will also launch, reducing helpdesk costs and accelerating user adoption.

For organisations using RADIUS, RSA introduces code matching to combat prompt bombing while supporting legacy infrastructure. These innovations are backed by RSA’s advanced security tools: Help Desk Live Verify prevents social engineering attacks by verifying identity bi-directionally, and RSA Mobile Lock protects against malware, jailbreaking, and AiTM threats.

Unlike fragmented solutions, RSA ID Plus delivers a unified identity security platform with full visibility and continuous risk assessment. RSA CEO Rohit Ghai notes, “Not all passwordless is created equal,” especially for high-security sectors like government, finance, and healthcare.

TD SYNNEX offers a full suite of RSA-focused services, including free assessments to identify performance issues and optimisation opportunities.
