TD SYNNEX launches AI Ecosystem community

TD SYNNEX is launching a new AI Technology Ecosystem community to focus on bringing together ISVs, innovators, partners, vendors and representatives from across industries to share ideas and create partnerships and solutions that will deliver real-world benefits.

► Initial meeting will set key goals and agenda for open meeting in the spring

► Group will focus on bringing together partners with complementary capabilities

It is also hoped that delegates from industry sectors where there is immediate potential to benefit from the deployment of AI will participate. Neil Cornish, business manager, industry ecosystems, UK, TD SYNNEX, stated: ‘Everyone is excited about AI and sees the potential to benefit. But the question perhaps is how, exactly, a specific sector or organisation can harness the power of large language models to deliver those expected beneficial outcomes. That’s the fundamental question that our ecosystem community will seek to address.

‘As with all the ecosystems, we are going to bring together businesses and individuals with different skills and resources who can help each other. They may have an interest in developing solutions, but little or no technical knowledge of AI. Or experts who can build solutions but need help in applying their skills to real-world use cases. They may be potential investors or user organisations. The whole idea is to identify how and where AI can be of the most immediate benefit – and to start putting all those different skills and capabilities together to create new solutions.’

TD SYNNEX already runs successful industry ecosystems for healthcare, financial services and also has communities for manufacturing, retail and distribution, and technology ecosystems focused on cybersecurity, sustainability and Red Hat.

The first AI ecosystem round table will bring together a group of people already involved in pre-launch discussions, at which the community’s priorities will be decided and an agenda set for the first open meeting, which should take place in the summer. The initial round table will take place at IBM’s offices in London in late April. If you would like to find out more about the TD SYNNEX AI ecosystem, please contact neil.cornish@tdsynnex.com.
