Maverick AV Solutions is inviting partners to exclusive events at which they will be able to see the very latest smart meeting room and intelligent workspace solutions in action and hear the views of leading industry figures on emerging opportunities and relevant issues, including sustainability.
► Collaboration meets the intelligent workspace
► Interactive events to take place in London and Manchester
The one-day Get Connected events – which will run in London and Manchester in early November – will showcase leading collaboration solutions from Microsoft and other top vendors, with vendor speaker sessions, hands-on demonstrations, and interactive workshops. There will also be an exhibition space and ample networking opportunities throughout the day. Other vendors supporting the events include Lenovo and Neat, both of whom will be exhibiting their latest offerings for meeting rooms and workspaces and hosting key vendor speaking sessions.
In addition, there will be a keynote guest speaker and an exclusive Q&A panel session which, as well as the huge potential of smart meeting room solutions, will cover key topics such as sustainability and the industry’s efforts to move to net zero carbon (NZC). Kevin Wragg, director for sustainability and environmental compliance at TD SYNNEX will be amongst the panellists at both events. The Get Connected events will be highly interactive and Maverick’s sales and technical specialists will also be available to hold meetings and discussions with partners.
Anna Marie Constantinou, business unit director, Maverick AV Solutions, said: ‘In the new hybrid world of work, businesses need to find smarter ways to connect the different pieces of the meeting room and turn it into an intelligent workplace. That’s a huge opportunity for partners and one we will be highlighting at the Get Connected events. We will have all the very latest and best smart meeting room solutions from leading vendors, and we’ll be showing partners how they can bring together all these different options and deliver the ideal collaborative workplace solutions for their customers.
It's also a significant event for Maverick in terms of direct engagement with partners, she added. ‘This is the first Maverick-excusive event we have held for more than five years, and we’re excited about the prospect of meeting and talking to our partners face to face. It will be a good opportunity to hear what they really think about the market, about the changes that have happened – and are still happening – as a result of the pandemic, and what they need from us.
‘That’s why we’ve decided to take a broader perspective with the live panel debate and to put a focus on sustainability. That’s becoming part of every conversation we have with partners and customers now and at Get Connected, we will address this – and any other issue they want to raise – head-on.’
There will be a strong focus on Microsoft Teams and on the Microsoft Surface Hub at the events, and as well as Lenovo and Neat, there will be exhibits by Absen, Bose, Creston, Epson, HP, Sennheiser, and Sony. Further details and exhibitors will be confirmed closer to the events, which will run on 1 November in Manchester and 14 November London.
