With interest in artificial intelligence and how it can be put to practical use soaring in all industries, the potential for partners to deliver AI-driven solutions and the high performance systems needed to support them is growing fast. But few partners have all of the skills and capabilities to bring together all the components needed to form a complete solution. HPE, NVIDIA and TD SYNNEX are now working together to build an ecosystem of partners who can work collaboratively to address the huge opportunities that are now emerging with AI.

► Ecosystem gathers momentum and brings businesses together in new partnerships
The HPE and NVIDIA teams have already hosted a couple of events, with the most recent taking place as part of the HPE Accelerate AI Exec Round Table, at The Swan, close to London’s Globe theatre on the South Bank.
Speakers included Matt Armstrong-Barnes, HPE’s chief technology officer for AI, who spoke about the common pitfalls encountered with AI projects and how HPE and its partners are developing technology that will drive greater energy efficiency in the data centre for AI-based apps. They were also joined by Sean Sargent, OEM Enterprise Manager for UK&I at NVIDIA, who gave attendees an update on the NVIDIA GTC 2023 (Global Technology Conference) event, which brought together partners, ISVs and industry experts to discuss trends and developments in AI, and shared example verticals and use cases where the partnerships they have are accelerating adoption.
More events are planned and there is a great deal of activity already, said Lynnette White, HPE senior business development manager, TD SYNNEX. ‘The excitement and momentum around the AI ecosystem that we are creating with HPE and NVIDIA is really building now. We already have a community of partners who are engaging in AI solutions for their customers. They have different skills and capabilities, and that’s’ bringing great networking opportunities for partners to leverage one another and their respective strengths and form new partnerships.’
For partners who are new to AI, a great way to get started is by getting hold of one of the AI Starter Kits that HPE and NVIDIA have pulled together as part of their joint collaboration. These come with pre-trained models from NVIDIA designed to address a number of AI use cases, and are ideal for seeding opportunities, as Martin O’Sullivan solutions business manager for HPC & AI at HPE explained.
‘The AI Starter Kits which address the needs of organisations that want to try AI, but do not have the in-house data scientists or time to spend building models and testing. They provide HPE channel partners with an ideal opportunity to open up a discussion with their customers about how they can start their journey with AI.’
TD SYNNEX can provide full support to partners on the HPE AI Starter Kits and further information is available on our Trusted Advisor site.
A further AI ecosystem event will take place in the next quarter and the rest of the year. The meetings are an ideal way for partners to learn from one another and also increase their network of collaborative relationships. If you would like to find out more about these and learn how you can get involved in the AI ecosystem.
